Most wardrobe managers would never approve of these clothes, but the terrain is rough and we need to be ready. We are wearing boots (and the land is dry as there has been a drought)We are wearing long sleeves and pants and it is over 90 degrees. We are carrying machetes, bamboo sticks and white, cloth covered panels. We all have on hats and special tape in a bright color. You can see the tape on Rebecca's hat. (She is the last one on the right.)

Ms. Drucker, we were unable to get into chat today because the room was full! Sorry! Here are our answers for the questions..
1. High boots - protection from water, keep frass away from feet, snakes!, poison ivy and plants!
2. Clothes - dont get poison ivy, prevents cuts and mosquitos bites, and sunburn
3. Ribbon- identify from far away, scare creatures away, attract catapillars?
4. Bamboo stick - help walk, fell for holes, steady for self, defense, pull branches down, get catapillars from up high
5. Board - stick catapillars on it, reflect sun
